NEW PLYMOUTH SESSION. For the sitting of the Supreme Joint which commences on Tuesday next at New Plymouth the following business is set down:— CRIMINAL. Rex v. Ernest Albert Burton, al.eged manslaughter. Rex v. Reginald Clervase Hamer ton, dleged sheep-stealing vthree charges). CIVIL. The following eases were adjourned from the last sitting of the Court:— Robert Hugh Cameron (Mr E, S. Tntherfurd) v. Jonas Masters (Mr C. Fookes). —Claim of £195 10s for purchase-money paid and received. Counter-claim (1) for £IBO 10s 3d money received, (2) £lßl 8s 7d in respect of sale of plant, (3) £2O for money lent, (4) £24 for money paid by defendant at plaintiff’s request. Wm. Duirs and others (Mr R. 0 Sellar) v. Josiah Hunt (Air B. M. McCarthy), application for injunction and £llO damages for trespass. The parties arc adjoining owners. The new cases are:—
Win. Gordon Glassford (Mr J. 15. Roy) v. Ted White (Mr 0. R. Stead), claim for £3lB in respect of 24 bullocks sold to defendant. Anton Gottfried Fischer (Mr J. C. Klcholson) v. John Willdon (Mr E. S. Rutherfurd), application for dissolution of partnership and for accounts to he taken.
In Banco.—Originating summonses n ider the Mortgages Extension Act (Moratorium): Lewis W. Alexander (Mr J. E. Wilson), v. Henry May Bauchope; Win. Crowe (Mr G. Gray), v. the Public Trustee; D. J. Martin Mr H. R. Billing), v. H. Peterson and others; John Chadwick (Mr T. B. Crump), v. Horace Phillips, Jnr.; George Washington Tayler and T. B. Crump (Mr Crump), v. John Edward Fever and Albert H. Fever. appeals Two cases of appeal from magisterial decisions are set down for hoar, iug, namely:— Bellingham and fson (McYeagh and Morrison), v. William Ply, an appeal '»y plaintiffs on fact and law, from a judgment of the magistrate at Elthara.
Joseph Speight (Mr A. H. Johnstone) appellant, and Herbert P. H. Graves, respondent. The defendant appeals on fact and law from a decision of the magistrate at Stratford. IN BANKRUPTCY. Application for discharge hy Tierherb H. Curtis IN CHAMBERS. . A number of matters for the decision of the Judge will be taken in chambers.
