ALLEGED SHEEP-STEALING

DISCLOSURES AT FAIRLIE. Peb Press Association, Timaru, January 22. At Fairlie, ito-day, Robert Guthrie, a well-known sheep farmer, of'Mount Nessing, Albury, was committed for trial on three charges of sheepstealing on or about December 24th. Inspection of the sheep disclosed that the 43 sheep claimed had been shorn, branded, and the earmarks altered. Accused pleaded not guilty.
