Ho (states that the Davis Cup contests aroused tremendous enthusiasm in America, wher the game is very popular. America is producing some fine players. Brooks intends returning to England after the war to defend the British championship. Tennis form in England was below the previous year's, the trouble being that the game was not encouraged in tiie public schools.
