RAFT WASHED ASHORE.
SUGGESTED RELIC OF THE MISSING ‘ENDEAVOR. Per Press Association. Invercargill, Janaary 18, A raft winch was washed ashore on the coast at Bluff Hill on Saturday appears to have been in the water for a month. The dimensions are 10ft x (3ft, with three cross beams of orcgon and the decking of red pine, buoyancy being obtained by eighteen bem.oline tins lashed underneath. It is suggested the raft may have come from the missing Endeavor. Wireless inquiry is being made with the Macquarries.
