The postal authorities notify that wireless communication has been es. tablished between Australia and Nauru. WHEAT FOR TASMANIA. (Received 9.20 a.m.) Sydney, January 18. The New South Wales Government has undertaken to supply 10,000 bushels of wheat per month to the Tasmanian Government, where a severe shortage exists. WHEAT FOR NEW ZEALAND. (Received 9.20 a.m.) Melbourne, January 18. The Federal Government has received an urgent request from Mr Massey that no obstacle be placed in the way of the shipment of wheat by the Kaiapoi. Mr Hughes is conferring I with the New South Wales Government and is hopeful of overcoming the difficulties. SETTLEMENT OF CARGO CLAIMS. (Received 9.20 a.m.V Melbourne, January IS. Private advices from Capetown state that the Full Court of the Union has given its decision that all claims respecting the cargo of the Birkenfels, Hamm, and Apolla, must be proved before April 15, and be accompanied by documents.
