NEWTON KING'S HAYMARKET REPORT. For my Haymarket sale held on Saturday, I had a medium entry of pigs. There was a good inquiry for all classes and prices ruling were in advance of previous sales, the demand exceeding the supply, all lines being cleared under the .hammer. I quote slips and weaners from 16s Gd to £1 6d, stores £1 s 6d to £1 ss, medium to good ditto £1 10s to £1 19s, sows to £2 12s 6d, boars £2, lambs 18s 3d.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Stratford branch, have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 14th inst:—"Anticipate market firm with upward tendency crossbred woo], better market merino sheepskins. Merino market weaker, icrossbred market firm."
