EXPLOITATION OF THE PUBLIC. Pee Press Association. Palmerston N., January 12. At a meeting of railway employees, the following resolution was carried: “That this meeting of the Palmerston North branch of the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants strongly condemns the actions of merchants and distributors in the system of exploitation adopted, unnecessarily increasing prices of foodstuffs, and deplores the inactivity of the Government in allowing such exploitation to take place.” .
