YOUNG WOMAN SCALPED. Pee Press 'Association. Dunedin, January 6. A serious accident happened to Miss Ruth Webb, 20 years of age, employed at the Roslyn woollen mill to-day. At the close of the day she was sitting on the edge of a table presumably attending to her hair, which became entangled in a working spindle. The skin and hair on the head and over one eyebrow were wrenched off. She was removed to the hospital, where an operation was performed, and she was doing as well as could .be expected to-night.
