PRESIDENT WILSON'S ATTITUDE ATTACKED. [By Electric Telegraph—Oofyright > United Presb Association. Washington, January 7. Senator Lodge and other Senator. bitterly attacked President Wilson' 1 Mexican policy. Senator Lodge pointed out that tin last stage in Mexico was worse tha the first. The conditions to-day wen such that anarchy was a polite name President AVilson's error consisted ii his refusal to recognise Huerta oi moral grounds instead of on broade international grounds. When the fight ing occurred at Vera Cruz Presiden Wilson was afraid to pursue the con flict, and took refuge under the Soutl American Republics' mediation, whiel, accomplished absolutely nothing. Senator Lodge thought it was too late now to adopt any policy in regard to Mexico, save military occupation, which every American deplored.
