FRATERNISING TO BE PUNISHED AS TREASON. Amsterdam, January 7. As a result of the Christmas episode, a German order intimates that any fraternising with the enemy will be punished as treason. GENERAL. The Frenchmen have displayed praiseworthy military qualities) and General Joffre is among the most excellent of generals. The Russians have displayed extraordinary tenacity, and their artillery unexpected accuracy.
