IFib Pbhm Association.] Auckland, January 3. The body of a farm laborer, William Christopher Costar, was found suspenled from a rafter in a cow shed at Mangere yesterday. It appeared to be a case of suicide. Timaru, January 1. William Patrick, a retired farmer, iged 79, being unwell, fell out of his brap and was found with a broken leek on the road near Winchester yesterday. A verdict of accidental. death vas returned at the inquest. Wellington, January 2.
Charles James Wood, aged 50, was injured at the Railway Wharf on Wednesday through heing jamhed between two trucks as he was assisting to load the steamer Somerset, and died at the hospital yesterday. Dannevirke, January 2.
At an inquest held to-day■ on the ')ody of a woman named Annie lliornIrill, who was found dead yesterday in lior bedroom, a verdict was returned -hat death was due to suffocation as the result of excessive drinking.
