Austria
RESIGNED TO THEIR FATE. United Press Association.
London, December 30.

They admit that they are. going to lose Galicia, Bosnia, and Herzegovina. The officers of the best families have gone to the front. The war loan was a complete failure, and the credit of the Government seems to he absolutely ruined. As soon as the Austrians heard of the Czar’s decree, forbidding the sale of spirits, they realised that they wore beaten. The opinion in Vienna is that the Russians are wonderfully well equipped, especially for a winter campaign. HERZEGOVINIAN FRONTIER. EVERYWHERE REPULSED BY THE MONTENEGRINS. (Received 8.50 a.m.) Cettinge, December 30. The Austrians on Monday attacked tlio Montenegrins along the whole front of Herzegovina, but everywhere were repulsed with heavy losses.
