THE YOUNG TURKS PARTY. PREPARING FOR DEFEAT. United Press Association. London, December 30. The Daily Telegraph’s Athens correspondent says that Talaat Bey, who headed the anti-German section of the Young Turks, is reported to be really the mouthpiece of the Young Turks Committee which is secretly contemplating separation from Germany in the event of Turkey’s war taking a bad turn.

The Turks assert that the Prophet brought the Holy Standard to Damascus amid the greatest rejoicing. / Five thousand volunteers in Syria, are marching against the British, who are alleged to have advanced on Bagdad.
