AUSTRALASIAN CONTINGENT.

IMPRESSIVE PARADE AT CAIRO.

Timer and Sydney Sun Servicer. (Received 8 a.m.) London, December 28,

The Australasian contingent paraded at the European and Native quarters at Cairo on Wednesday. The men and horses were in the pink of condition, and their work was extremely smart, all of which evoked repeated expressions of admiration. The Natives thronging the route were particularly impressed when the line of troops was interrupted to permit of a Native funeral to pass, the front regimental band continuing to play “Its a Long Long Way to Tipperary.”
