1200 PRISONERS ON PAROLE. ARREST OF MEMBER OF THE ASSEMBLY. United Pekbb Association. (Received 8.45 a.m.) Capetown, December 22. Mr De Wet, Minister of Justice, speaking at Johannesburg, said that of yer 4000 rebels wlio were imprisoned, 1200 have been released on parole. Wessels, member for Bethlehem, has been, arrested it is understood, in connection with the rebellion. CAPTURE OF ANOTHER BATCH OF REBELS. (Received 9.55 a.m.) Pretoria, December 22. Van Schalkwyk and t wen r,y-t.lvee rebels have been captured in the Smithfield district, where they were organising.
