PERSONAL.

Dr. Isabel Ormiston, a Sydney University graduate, is a prisoner of war at Ostend. She was in charge of a hospital intended for Belgian refugees, but afterwards used for wounded soldiers. When Ostend fell into German hands she and a Belgian doctor and a nurse remained. The Belgian Government has recommended them for bravery and devotion to duty. News received by Dr. Ormiston’s relatives in Sydney indicates that she has been well treated by the Germans. “Their whole conduct here,” she writes, “is exemplary.”
