SATISFACTORY REPORT. United Press association. (Received 8.50 a.m.) Paris, December 16. A communique states that the British squadron violently bombarded Westende, iu Belgium. We repulsed a counter attack at St. George and occupied farms on the left bank of the Yser. We progressed at St. Eloi. There were artillery duels at Arras, in the Aisne, and at Champagne, where we gained a clear advantage at several points. We repelled attacks at Montmare wood and also west of Cerenay. OFFICIAL. The Prime Minister has received the following from the High Commissioner, dated London' 16th (5.20 p.m.) Paris reports that Westede, in Belgium, was violently bombarded by the English squadron. The Belgians repulsed a counter-attack at St. George, occupying the bank on the left of the Yser. The French progressed further at Arras and in the Aisne valley. At Champagne the artillery duels were clearly to the French advantage. The Servian King entered Belgrade at the head of his troops. No Austrians reamin in Servia.
