Mr C. V. Houghton, Auckland manager of, the New Zealand Shipping Company, who returned from London, via Vancouver, by the Marama, states that so far shipping companies have heen ahle to carry the genei-aland pro duce cargoes without offering undue inconvenience to shippers. He anticipated that sufficient tonnage would be available to cope with the trade foi the remainder of the season. Auckland shippers had not filled all the meat space offering oil;the Tongariro.
