TARANAKI WOOL, SKIN, HIDE AND TALLOW SALES. MR NEWTON KING’S REPORT. At my monthly sale on Tuesday, November 24th, I submitted an extra large amount to a full attendance of buyers. The catalogue comprised : —125 bales and 254 sacks wool, 2980 ,21 casks and 76 tins of tallow, 1015 hides, 3771 calfskins, and the usual sundries. Competition was very keen, and I have to report a very successful sale. Fleece wool advanced l|d to 2d per lb on last November rates, and clean lengthy wool was eagerly sought after. Grutchings advanced id to id per lb. Sheepskins: Finn to id per lb higher. Tallow.—Advanced 6d to Is per cwt-j Hides: Firm at late rates. Calfskins.—Declined id to id per lb,
