For the second day. of the Feilding Races the weather was hue but windy, but the heavy rain of yesterday made the course holding. Results:—

Cheltenham Hurdles, of 17550v5., 1;} miles.—Leapuki 1, A'ruake 2, Player 3. All started. Leapuki established a long lead and was never overhauled. C'lenorchy fell. Time, 3min 26sec. Alanchester Handicap, of 300sovs.. 1 mile and a quarter.—Alaniaroa 1, Guiding AVay 2, Passadena 3. Scratched: Portraiture, Kimbombi, Vieto'ris. A good race. AVon easily by two lengths.
