Vaurensburg and 157 Brandfort rebels, after an interview with De Wet, have become convinced of the disastrous consequences attached to being a rebel and surrendered. Beyers and Wolmarans,' leading 1500 rebels westward of Bulfontein, were pursued for eighteen miles, losing four killed, 22 wounded and 100 prisoners.
