HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. The programme submitted last light contained real gems of the film art. "A Mysterious Case" proved a splendid drama. It is a story of a. pretty girl somnambulist, who removes precious documents from the safe in aer sleep. Detectives are called in, hit their search is unavailing. The rirl is arrested, and it is not until ler foot prints are discovered leading over the tops of houses into a misty room that the mystery closes. 'Retribution" is a play of art and >eauty. "The Valley of Joute" is a rlorious Pathe scenic. "The Rathe "iazette" is chock full of world's jvehts, including Bombadier Wells' last fight before joining the' colours, md many other scenes. The comedies are "A Lucky Visit" (Edison) .md "Water Dog" (Keystone). The management wish to apologise to last light's patrons for the non-appear-mce of "Our Japanese Allies," there having been an error in transmission. Mr Will Diamond was encored for his .inging of "It's a Long Way to Tipperary."
