SOMALI CHIEFS DESIRE TO FIGHT FOR ENGLAND.
United Press Association. London, November 11. Tim Somali chiefs are jubilant, having petitioned the King for permission to fight for England. LOSSES ON BOTH SIDES. t FIERCE FIGHTING BETWEEN LOYALISTS AND REBELS. (Received 9.0 a.m.) Capetown, November 11. One hundred and twenty rebels were killed or wounded and 25 prisoners wore taken in a fierce encounter with Colonel Kirk van Dorvonter. At Zoandfontein, near the warm baths, twelve loyalists were killed and eleven wounded. Colonel Manie Botha, the wellknown fighting commander in the Boer War, with 200 loyalists, dispersed 400 rebels outside KrOonstadt.
