The Chronicle states that information via Holland shows that increasing public uneasiness in Germany is widely prevalent, and that there is suspicion, particularly in commercial circles, that the truth regarding the military situation is being withheld. AN EXTRACT FROM ORDERS. DETERIORATION IN DISCIPLINE AND SHORTAGE OF SUPPLIES.

An extract from a captured copy of Orders belonging to a German of the Fourteenth Reserve Corps, dated October 7th, suggests deterioration in the general discipline of one corps and also a shortage of supplies. The Orders notified troops that they must no longer count on regular supplies, but must utilise their resources, counting as much as possible that the regulation use of rations would be strictly observed. WITH THE AIRCRAFT. NOTABLE ACTIVITY. EIGHT ZEPPELINS GO WEST. The Hague, October 29. Eight Zeppelins flew over Hasselt, going west, on Sunday and Monday. Flushing, October 28. The Germans are building an aircraft shed at Kieldrecb.
