CORRESPONDENCE.

THE FIRE BRIGADE.

[To The Editor Stratford Post.] Sir, —I trust ycu will spare me a small space in your valuable paper to express my admiration for the Fire Brigade. The excellent way . the officers and men worked at the Council Chambers fire reflects great credit on Captain T. Gfrubb in the manner he has trained his men. The Brigade are holding their .annual ball on Thursday next, 'and I note by their notification in your paper.that they are devoting half proceeds to the Eelgian Relief Fund and the other half towards their motor engine. I trust the citizens will respond handsomely, and thereby "kill two birds with one stone," as the ,saying is. Thanking yon.—l am. etc., ' AN OLD FIREMAN.
