■ A London cablegram on October 6th to the Sydney Sun stated' 1 that Mr W. P. Reeves, a well-known New Zealander, formerly Agent-General for the Dominion, was arrested as a spy at Arras. He was taken before the German commandant, who interrogated him and then ordered his release.
