FIRES.

[Put Pbms Ausootation ) Dunedin, October 12. • The Ravensbourne Private Hotel, about three miles from Dunedin, was gutted by fire to-night. It contained '26 rooms, and until six years ago was licensed, but then the reduction vote caused the license to be removed. It was owned and occupied ’by J. McClliskie. Practically nothing was saved. The building was insured in the South British for £SOO, and the furniture in the New Zealand Company for £4OO.
