The following are the quarterly r turns for the Stratford Magistrate Court, ending the 3Uth Septembe. 1914 :
rhe Court sat 23 times during tinquarter, 13 'sittings being presided over by the Magistrate and 15 by Justices. \
The number of civil cases dealt wit by the Magistrate was 74, the aggrc gate amount sued for being £l9lß 10c and the amount recovered £9/0 19s 7c
Criminal—Arrests, 26 (24 males am 2 females); number of summonses, 4< (46 males and 1 female); amount o fees (civil), £lOl 3s; amount of fee. (criminal), £ll 8s; amount of fines £4l ss.
Applications heard in chambers, 7; orders thereon 6 ;plaints entered during trie quarter, 132; distress warrants issued, 18; judgment summonses issued, 13; orders on summonses issued. 8; warrants of committal, 3; number ot processes served by the Bailiff, 130 warrants executed, 8.
