HORTICULTURAL SHOW.
AT THE TOWN HALL. The Stratford Horticultural Societj' can claim that its 1914 spring show, which was opened at the Town Hall this afternoon, is well ahead of any previous show' in all respects, the exhibition of spring blooms being excellent, and including entries from several horticulturalists who have not preveiously shown at Stratford. A cursory glance along the benches seems to indicate that every known variety of daffodil is on view, and the exhibits are uniformly in fine show condition. There are also fine samples of other spring flowerSj and altogether the show is wqll worthy of a visit, alike to the expert horticulturalist and the inexpert person who appreciates flowers without being familiar with their names and pedigrees. The Egmont Club orchestra will contribute musical items during the evening, and the usual tasty supper will be procurable at a small charge. It i$ hardly necessary to remind citizens, that the Horticultural Society has decided to donate the proceeds of the show to the Patriotic Fund.
