The secretary of the Trades and Labour Council (Mr L. M. A. Reardon) to-day received the following telegram from the Hon. Andrew Fisher, Melbourne “Heartfelt sympathy with the bereaved in the terrible Hnntly disaster.” The Mayor of Wellington (Mr J. P. Luke) is opening a fund to provide relief for the dependents of the miners killed at Huntly.
