The Financial News states ;it * 'is inderstood that the Stock Exchange oan account amounts to eighty milions, of which half are loans from •tearing house banks, and twenty milion from other banks, and the rest s from trust companies and other institutions. The Stock Exchange is mxious to avoid a Government guarantee.
