A significant fact in connection with the recruiting is that the War Office has increased the minimum height for the infantry. The Chief of the Royal Medical Corps at the front has declared that the Australian voluntary hospital is splendidly efficient and has been actively employed from the moment of the landing. Two more motor ambulances and more nurses are being despatched.
