BERNARD'S PICTURES. The programme presented at Bernard's last night was the latest picture productions direct from Wellington. A special feature film depicts the groat Territorial camp and gives a great idea of the life of the brave boys in camp, training for the front. They are seen at trench-digging, skirmishing and big gun practice, and at a massive sham fight, including • 5000 'massed men under the supervision of Sir lan Hamilton. The marching of the troops in perfect order is astounding, and reflects great credit upon the Dominion boys. "Scenes in Greece" is a fine scenic picture of this ancient country. The star drama, "threads of Destiny," is a thrilling story of life in a huge circus, taken by the Vitagraph Co. The latest Gaumont Graphic and a host of other star pictures make a fine programme.
On Wednesday next the famous ring fight between Wells and Carpentier will give a vivid idea of the Frenchman's cyclonic methods.
