A pleasant evening is promised at the Fire Brigade's weekly dance- to be held in the lire station tonight. The annual ball under the auspices of the East Road Sheep Dog Trial'Club iias always been a pleasant affair, and it is promised that this year's function, to lie held at Te Wera to-morrow evening, will be as successful as any oi its predecessors. It is to be noted that any profit is to be handed to the War Fund. Mr Harry Masters has purchased 'mm Mr A. G.
