THE TIDES. High water at New Plymouth today 11.52 a.m. To-morrow 0.16 a.m. and 0.41 p.m. THE SUN. Rises to-morrow 6.33. Sets to-day 5.26, to-morrow 5.27. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Regulus, from South, Thursday. Mapourika, from South, Thursday. Rarawa, from North, Thursday. Taviuni, from North, Thursday. Rarawa, from North, Tuesday. Eric, schooner, left Puget Sound Jul} 18. (Duo end of September).
The Rarawa arrived from Onehunga yesterday morning with 243 tons of cargo, including 60 tons of sugar and 24 tons of cement.
The Kanna was expected to put in an appearance last evening from Newcastle. After discharging her New Plymouth'cargo (950 tons of coal) she is to proceed to Picton and Wellington.
The Taviuni is now en route from southern port 3 to New Plymouth with general cargo. She is due on Friday. The Mapourika is scheduled to leave Wellington for New Plymouth this evening, and is due to-morrow. Tbe Corinna leaves Dunedin on Monday for New Plymouth, via the usual ports.
