ARMY CONCENTRATING ON AUSTRIAN FRONTIER.

Messages from Geneva report that an Italian army of 800,000 is concentrating on the Austrian frontier. The "mobilisation of the army has virtually stripped the frontier between France and Switzerland of
French garrisons. Italy's peace footing is 350,000 men. Her total war strength, however,, is 3,220,000, of whom 1,020,000 are more or less trained. Italy has besides a Libyan Army of 15,000. She has a navy consisting of 12 battleships, 10 armored cruisers, and a considerable number of smaller craft, including torpedo-boats, destroyers and submarines.
