iPaa Pbmi Association.] Hastings, Saturday. Charles Morton, a laborer, aged 40, who recently came from Oamaru, atempted suicide last night by firing two bullets from a small revolver into his forehead. He was taken to the hospital, and his condition is precarious this morning.
