.The Admiralty warn the neutrals that the Germans continue to scatter mines indiscriminately; which does not conform to the conditions of the Hague convention. The mines do not become harmless in a few hours, and are not laid in connection, with a definite naval scheme, but are scattered on the chance of catching British warships and merchant vessels. The Admiralty • also warn neutrals to call at British ports before entering the 'North Sea, in order tb ascertain the routes the Admiralty are keeping swept. The Admiralty adds that [ .though they reserve for themselves the utmost liberty of retaliation in,.any action against this new form of warfare, they have not laid any mines in the present war. TWO MORE STEAMERS BLOWN UP. MINES IN THE GULF OF FINLAND.

i In addition to the Maryland and Broberg, two Dutch steamers clearing the Swedish ports were blown up by German mines in the Gulf of Finland.
PARTICULARS OF THE MINES DISASTER.

The Press Bureau states that the Danish steamship Maryland, from Copenhagen, struck a mine on Friday night on the main trade route when 35 miles from land. The Danish steamer Broberg saw the disaster, and launched the boats, but failed to find tho crew. The Broberg anchored for the night and recommenced the search next morning, when she struck a mine and foundered. The Broberg's crow was saved, except the engineer, and they landed at Lowestoft, in Suffolk, England.
