LOOKING FOR NEWS.
[To The Editor Stratford Post.] Sir,—Will you kindly allow me space
in your valuable paper to thank the Postal authorities of Stratford for the admirable manner in which they place Government war news received before the public. At the same time, I would like to suggest as an improvement, that the notification be removed to a position a little closer to the clock, and the copying of the news from the original message's be "entrusted to Mr Ah Sick, who would probably write so that those desirous of gaining information could read it.—Yours, etc., , "SCRUTATOR." Stratford, August 24, 1914. [An . even greater ' improvement might be effected'if 'the Department would immediately on receipt provide. lis with copies of the 1 official messages referred to, so that they' might be issued as as are the urgent special messages received direct by us through the United Press Association. —Ed. "Stratford Post.."]
