A WAR VOTE AND TWO SUB-
MARINES.

The Borden Government has asked the House of Commons to sanction n war vote of ten million sterling raisable by loan. The House is certain to unanimously agree.
Canada has placed the two recentlypurchased submarines at the disposal of the Homo Government and has received the Admiralty’s thanks.
