NEW YORK SENSATION.
COLLISION ON THE RIVER. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 9.30 a.m.) New York, July 30. The river steamer Majestic was returning with 1000 excursionists when she collided with a. stone-laden barge. The captain, his wife, a passenger, and a deck hand are missing. The excursionists became panicstricken and fought for points of vantage. Hundreds leaped ashore as the steamer touched the pier. Many were seriously injured.
