The Government- MeteorologUt (Key D. 0. Bates) telegraphed thii afternoon as follows; Northerly moderate to strong winds freshening and veering by north to west. Expect dull weather with much mist and fog in parts. Rain profitable. The barometer has a falling tendency, but is unsteady.
