George King, aged 90, a Crimean veteran, refuses to leave his house in Exeter, despite the fact that the landlord has removed the windows. King says he is determined to remain even if the roof is taken off. He denies the landlord’s right to eject his wife and family and is unperturbed. There have been hundreds of visitors • who have become, interested in the matter.
