ELECTION EXPENSES.
AMALGAMATED ENGINEERS' DIVISION. [By Electric Telegraph—Copyright] [United Press Association.] (Received 12.15 p.m.) London, July 14. The amalgamated society of engineers rejected a levy for political purposes, and no fund will be available for the next elections. The Society declines to assume responsibility for Mr Duncan's election expenses, and deferred decision with regard to Mr Barnes's.
