C. and Lady Munro-Fergu-son, on paying their first visit to Svdnoy, were warmly welcomed by a-rent crowds at the railway station and in the streets. referring to the Rev. George and Deacon •Aluahenn Xissens, of the ancient Vestorial Church, who were detained at Port Darwin, said they were collecting for the Armenian Churches. Previous arrivals on a similar mission had not carried credentials recognisable by the Government. It was decided to restrict the landing of any more, and they could tranship for New Zealand, providing they gave an undertaking that they would not collect in Australia.
