The selection of merinos was good, and the competition all round was maintained at late rates. The following prices were realised for the fleece j portions of New Zealand clips as follows: Abbotsford, top, Hoid, average 13Jd; Ruakoil4£d Drysdale 12d and 10|d; Sern 16d.fl.nd 13Jd; Kumukumu 13d and 12Jd. To date 4J?,332 bales have been catalogued and 46,565 sold. Hides—The sales have been very quiet and trade is depressed.
