808 FITZSIMMONS IN COURT. The San Francisco correspondent of the Sydney Daily Telegraph, vritirig under date May 27, says : Robert Fitzsimmons, former world's champion heavyweight pugilist, wan sued foV divorce in the Circuit Court of Chicago on May 23, by Mrs Julia Fitzsimmons, who charged that he treated her with extreme and repeated cruelty since their marriage in San Francisco in 1903. Mrs Fitzsimmons alleged that her husband threatened to kill her when she left him in July, 1910, and that she fears, unless restrained by the Court, he will carry out his tin-eats. After the usual legal preliminaries, the case was adjourned to enable the defence to prepare for a full heaiing of the charge.
