At the Thames police court, Detective Wersley gave evidence that Rob* bins said ho made the acquaintance of .Minnie Stevenson and took her in a rowing, boat. He charged her with being friendly with another man and she admitted it. He strangled her and ripped up her body in order that it might sink. Bobbins had been drinking, but he seemed sensible, though ho had previously been wandering in Whitechapel.
