Court was cleared of sympathisers who were noisily interrupting, while the prisoner shouted incessantly. Ballymetoch House, at Holyrood, Belfast, was burned, the damage amounting to £20,000. It is attributed to the suffragettes. FREEDOM LEAGUE’S REQUEST. The Women’s Freedom League has written to the King and Mr Asquith complaining of the absence of women from the Birthday and New Year honors list, and enclosing a list of prominent women deserving honor.
