AMUSEMENTS.
BERNARD’S PICTURES. In to-night’s new series of pictures the star feature drama is entitled “The Woman Pays,” which is a striking problem play. The supporting pictures include the “Warwick Chronicle,” “Mr Jefferson Green,” “Dog Traction in the Belgian Army,” “A Proposal from Mary,” an Edison drama, and “Percy’s First'Holiday,” a Than comedy, featuring the Australian comedian, W. S. Lubin Co. will present their latest v comedy. “Pat’s Revenge,” making the “fun of Cork.” It runs as follows:—Mary McGonigal, a poor but highly respected widow, is so pestered by proposals of marriage by Pat Dolan that to get rid of him she finally consents. Pat buys the ring at a five-and-ten-cent. store, thinking the widow will not discover the quality or price. Mary Ann, however, finds the ten-cent mark on the bottom of the box and when Pat shows up she gives him a licking. Dolan, for revenge, puts up a job that runs the wicjow up against a Dutch policeman, and they are arranging to get married, when Mary .Ann gets news that her uncle has died and left her a fortune. She fires the policeman and her love returns to Pat.
TOWN HALL SKATING.
The exhilarating pastime of roller skating is still goihg strong every afternoon at the Town Hall under the personal supervision of Mr Syd Bernard.
